Our story begins in 2020, when I found myself at a crossroads after losing my job, due to world events, as a Merchant Marine and First Class Pilot on self-unloading cargo ships navigating the Great Lakes. Having spent years managing large vessels, leading crews, and handling complex and dangerous situations in dynamic, fluid environments, I learned invaluable lessons in leadership, problem-solving, and the importance of safety. These experiences shaped my ability to adapt, overcome challenges, and stay calm under pressure – qualities that have been crucial in building and running Elite Dumpster Rentals.
Starting this business from the ground up has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life. It has allowed me to leave behind long months spent on the water, away from my family, and instead focus on serving the local community that I love. I am proud to now be a business owner, providing a vital service while remaining close to home and available for my family.
